The Lecher antenna is a fascinating instrument that sits on the border between classical physics and geobiology (or bioenergy).
From a purely scientific point of view, it takes its name from the Austrian physicist Ernst Lecher who, at the end of the 19th century, developed the "Lecher wires" to measure the wavelength and frequency of electromagnetic signals.
The antenna works on the principle of resonance. By moving the slider, you adjust the vibrating length of the antenna to tune it to a specific frequency.
If the object or energy you are testing emits on this frequency, the antenna resonates and tilts (a physical movement of the instrument can be observed).
It is a bit like tuning a radio to the right station to pick up the signal.
The Lecher antenna relies on physical graduations. The antenna is set to a precise value, which limits subjective interpretation.
Moarenon Deuwiari is a passionate and fascinating geobiologist, a graduate of the French School of Geobiology.
Originally from Houaïlou, it is with a special sensitivity that, since birth and alongside his grandfather, he has (re)discovered faculties that embrace the invisible.
His grandfather’s wish was for him to go and experience the world... the military was his passport. 2018 is the year he returned to "the rock" after 25 years in mainland France, where he trained as a geobiologist at the French School of Geobiology.
